Scoring for Multiple Players
One phone can score for your whole group. This guide shows the quickest way to add players, switch between them, and keep everyone in sync on the current hole.
Before You Start
- Join the round on one device (see Join a Round).
- Add each playing partner by name and confirm handicaps.
- Ensure the group field matches your tee time if your organiser uses groups.
Step 1: Add Players to This Device
On the join screen, add/select each player in your four-ball. You can edit a player’s handicap if needed.
Step 2: Use Current-Hole View
When scoring, the app focuses on the current hole. Enter the gross score for Player 1, then switch to Player 2 and repeat.
Step 3: Switch Players Quickly
Use the player switcher at the top of the hole view to hop between players. The hole stays the same, so you won’t lose your place.
💡 Tip: If someone blobs, just enter their gross and move on — Stableford or medal is auto-calculated in the background.
Step 4: Advance to the Next Hole
After all group scores are entered for the hole, tap Next. Everyone stays in lockstep on the next hole.
Finishing the Round
Once your group completes the last hole, tap ✅ Finish Round. You can review entries before submitting. See How to Finish a Round for details.
Best Practices
- Caller system: One person calls out scores, one person taps them in.
- Check handicaps once: Confirm on the first tee; it saves confusion later.
- Battery: Keep the screen brightness sensible. A power bank on society days is handy.
Troubleshooting
- Accidentally scored the wrong player: Switch to that player and correct the hole.
- Player missing: Use the add button on the player list, or ask the organiser to approve new names.
- Scores not appearing on the leaderboard: Make sure you’ve tapped Finish Round after 18.
